The 2006 Wire & Gas at the Gold Coast International Hotel attracted the biggest exhibitor line up in the convention’s long history, reflecting a new recognition that this is a quality audience - the cream of the Australian and New Zealand aftermarket in air and electrics.  

A record 34 booths were active while on the hotel tennis courts, the biggest training event ever staged featured eight of Australia’s leading lights in auto technology covering everything from the family sedan to the monster imported MAN trucks.  

As a bonus, delegates and other guests were invited to Australia’s first Global Refrigerant Update where industry leaders from Sweden, Japan, the United States and Australia gave a rare insight into the world trends on new, replacement refrigerants
